To provide a clothes for an upper body, without a fear that an aged person, et.al., who have a handicapped body may suffer from disorders such as rashes on his/her skin when he/she wears the clothes, and capable of making him/her easily put on and take off the clothes without moving his/her arms upward.

This garment for the upper half of the body 11 is composed of a piece of seamless cloth 1 having a predetermined contour and an opening for the neck 6 in an approximately central area, wherein bottom areas of sleeves 9, 9' and boundary areas 8, 8' of a front body and a back body which are continuously formed from the bottom areas of the sleeve 9, 9' are joined together by stitching, respectively. The opening for the neck 6 has a high elasticity to such an extent that a person who wants to wear it can easily put on and take off the garment by vertically moving the opening for the neck 6 along his/her body (trunk).
