To provide a woven or knitted fabric for clothing, which is excellent in the efficiency of production, controls the deterioration in the strength of the fabric and the hardening in touch, can give a new difference of tensive forces, and has partially different tensive forces rich in functionality and designability; and to provide clothing using the woven or knitted fabric.
There is provided the woven or knitted fabric 6 formed of polypropylene multifilaments and thermoplastic polyurethane stretchable elastic fibers, including fused portions 4 in which monofilaments in the polypropylene multifilaments are fused to each other, and non-fused portions 5 not fused. The woven or knitted fabric 6 can further contain polyester multifilaments.
