To provide a clothing presser and its method by which the probability to a burn or a fire is eliminated, power consumption is saved and uniform pressing is executed in accordance with the projection/recession of clothing.

An almost rectangular-shaped main body side pinching plate 1 is connected to a lid side pinching plate 3 by metallic connection fixtures 2 so as to be opening/closing possible. An air bag 9 is attached on the inner surface of the lid side pinching plate 3 as the one with the same size as that of its whole surface. A pressurizing pump 10 for supplying and discharging air to/from the air bag 9 is connected.
