Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cleaning and wiping material contg. perfluoropolyether which is slight in stimulation to the skin and is capable of wiping away water- soluble dirt by impregnating a soft carrier capable of retaining moisture with the emulsion of the perfluoropolyether.
SOLUTION: This wet type cleaning/wiping material is formed by impregnating the carrier capable of retaining the moisture with the emulsion of the perfluoropolyether. Any perfluoropolyethers having a mol.wt. of about 500 to 10,000 are usable. If, however, the mol.wt. is small, volatility increases and, therefore, the mol.wt. preferable for practicable use is ≥1,000. The amt. of use is preferably 0.01 to 10wt.% in content in a medicinal liquid for impregnation of the carrier, such as non-woven fabric or paper. The carrier is preferably impregnated with the medicinal liquid contg. the perfluoropolyether at 1 to 5 times the weight of the carrier. As a result, the cleaning and wiping material has a remarkable cleaning and wiping effect and makes the skin and the hair of the head after cleaning and wiping to the state resistant to the adhesion of the dirt and smell.
