To optimally deploy a new application on a container on a cloud while improving utilization efficiency of resources on the cloud.SOLUTION: A phase classification model of a cloud application deployment apparatus calculates feature quantity vectors for each time period from resource usage data for each time period in execution of an application, clusters the feature quantity vectors for each time period, verifies a result of the clustering, and determines whether a feature quantity vector belongs a certain phase or not. For a feature quantity vector of a new application, a validation is performed with a feature quantity vector that belongs to a cluster of a known phase, determines, based on a degree of the validation, whether each time period belongs to a known phase or an unknown phase, infers the amount of resources used in a computer node for each phase, and performs application deployment, accordingly.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
