Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a circular wooden part to appear on a face ball-hitting surface so that it is know that a club head is made of wood.
SOLUTION: A carbon plate 14 is bonded integrally to a club head base material 12 obtained by adhering a plurality of wooden club head material plates having respectively necessary area and thickness with an adhesive, or to the face surface 142 of the club head base material 12 of a necessary shape through the adhesive and an adhesive member. A circular through holes 12c and a circular fitting hole 12b having necessary diameters and depths are respectively bored at the necessary places of the carbon plate and the face surface of the wooden club head base material. After a wooden circular fitting member 18 is fitted integrally in the circular through hole and the circular fitting hole 12b with the adhesive, the face surface of the carbon plate and the tip face of the wooden circular fitting member are made to be flat to each other.
