Abstract:
PURPOSE: To facilitate adjustment of a clutch clearance and reduce a cost of parts required for adjustment.
CONSTITUTION: Width of a snap ring groove 15M of a clutch drum 15 is widened for making allowance for various thicknesses of snap rings 14. A distance D2 between a rataining plate 13 and a stood surface 15P of ths stanp ring groove 15M. The snap ring having thickness so as to form a specified clutch clearance D1 is selected and fitted. This is easy operation compared to adjusting thickness of the retaining plate 13 after assembling. Manufacturing and arrangement costs are reduced for required parts.
