To provide a linear half-clutch control near the request of a driver when the clutch of an engine is automatically engaged in a hybrid electric car having a drive system transmitting the output of an engine to wheels, the clutch engaging and disengaging the drive system, a rotation transmitting mechanism connecting the drive shaft of a rotating electric machine to the clutch output side of the drive system, a storage device forming the power supply of the rotating electric machine.
This clutch control device comprises a hydraulic clutch actuator 8 driving the engagement and disengagement of the clutch 3a, a hydraulic supply means 27 driving the hydraulic actuator 8 to the disengagement of the clutch, an electromagnetic valve 28 forming a discharge means for hydraulic pressure holding the hydraulic actuator 8 in the engagement of the clutch, a means 10 controlling, by duty, the valve opening rate of the electromagnetic valve 28 so as to change a clutch stroke stepwise according to a clutch stroke when a request for the engagement of the clutch 3b occurs, and a means correcting a duty ratio in a half-clutch area by adjusting the frequency of the reference pulses of duty signals according to parameters related to a request from the driver.
