Abstract:
To provide a clutch mechanism which can surely intermit two shaft members, and a steering device which comprises the mechanism, and can surely intermit a steering wheel and a steering mechanism.SOLUTION: A first shaft part (10) having first engagement teeth (11) in a housing (1), and a second shaft member (20) having second engagement teeth (21) are rotatably supported with axial cores as centers, the second shaft member is energized by an energization member (30) to a direction in which the first and second engagement teeth are engaged with each other, and a connecting state of the first and second shaft members is maintained. When a cam member (40) accommodated in the housing is driven to an axial direction according to the rotation of a rotating body (50) by a motor (4), the second shaft member is driven to a direction in which the first and second engagement teeth are separated from each other against an energization force of the energization member, and the connecting state of the first and second shaft members is released.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
