Abstract:
To improve the efficiency of melting coal ash, by increasing the input of heat to a melting furnace and decreasing the quantity of flying coal ash, in coal ash melting equipment with the melting furnace attached to it.
In coal ash melting equipment, provided with a coal fired boiler 15 fitted with a miniature ash melting furnace 14, such as a rotary melting furnace and a gas heat exchanger 22 provided in the exhaust gas duct of the coal fired boiler, there is provided an ash heater 21 for preheating the coal ash supplied to the miniature melting furnace 14, to such a degree that it is not melted through the use of the output heat of the boiler 15.
