Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a structure capable of preventing the adhesion and growth of the mist of sintered ash contained in the gas exhausted from a gasification furnace in a duct or a reactor of a coal-gasification apparatus provided with the gasification furnace and the reactor.
CONSTITUTION: A gasification furnace is a pressure-type partial-combustion furnace having the inner surface of a water-cooled slug self-coating structure in the main body. A reactor is placed at the downstream side of the gasification furnace. A gas duct is placed between the outlet of the gasification furnace and the inlet of the reactor. A part or whole of the gas-contacting surface of the gas duct is constituted with an exposed cooling wall.
