Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of suppressing variation of gasification properties due to variation of the amount of coal charged in a gasification oven of a two-chamber-two-stage reactor comprises the gasification oven and a reforming oven.SOLUTION: A coal pyrolysis method for coal 10 uses a vertical two-chamber-two-stage air-flow-layer type pyrolysis plant consisting of a gasification oven, with the oven wall protected by a self-coating system, arranged in the lower stage and a reforming oven 1 arranged in the upper stage and comprises charging coal 9 and oxygen 12 or oxygen 12 plus steam 13 into the gasification oven 2 to form a gasified gas 12 by partial oxidation, introducing the gasified gas 14 into the reforming oven 1 and charging the coal 10 into the reforming oven 1 to generate a gas, an oil and char 16 by pyrolysis of the coal 10 utilizing the sensible heat of the gasified gas 14. The oven wall of the gasification oven 2 is configured with a structure of a boiler 17. The amount of vapor produced in the boiler 17 is measured, and the amount of oxygen 12 charged into the gasification oven 2 is decreased when the measurement of the amount of vapor produced increases.
