Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coated paper for printing for an industrial inkjet printing machine, which has good applicability to offset printing and excellent ink absorptivity, uniformity of color density and wet abrasion resistance with respect to an industrial inkjet printing machine.SOLUTION: The coated paper for printing for industrial printing machine includes a base paper and a coating layer comprising a pigment and a binder on at least one surface of the base paper. At least one pigment in the coating layer is heavy calcium carbonate; and the content of the heavy calcium carbonate in the coating layer is 60 pts.mass or more with respect to 100 pts.mass of pigments in the coating layer. The coating layer contains a penetrant, a styrene-anionic vinyl monomer copolymer and/or its salt, and at least one water-soluble polyvalent cation salt selected from calcium chloride, magnesium chloride, calcium lactate, and magnesium lactate.
