Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain the subject paper capable of radiating heat absorbed on contact with a substance as far infrared light and thereby accelerating the mutual compatibility of foods, drinks, or the like, by adding alumina powder and/or silica powder as pigments in a specific amount to a coating layer on the surface of paper, paper board, or the like.

CONSTITUTION: This paper is obtained by adding alumina (preferably α-alumina) powder and silica (preferably α-quartz) powder singly or as a mixture in an amount of 51-30 g/m2 as pigments to a coating layer on the surface of paper or paper board. The silica powder is preferably contained in an amount of 5-50 wt.% in the mixture of the alumina powder and the silica powder.
