Abstract:
To provide a pigment having interference colors having various color tones having high chromas.SOLUTION: A coated pigment includes a base material where at least its surface is made of a translucent material, and a magnetite layer coating the base material, in which a crystal lattice constant of the magnetite layer is 8.35Å or more. As the translucent material, at least one selected from the group consisting of silica, alumina, glass, mica and a resin can be used.
