PURPOSE: To obtain a coating agent useful for an oxygen euriching film, etc., having excellent heat resistance, weather resistance, electrical characteristics, etc., comprising a reaction product, prepared by reacting an ethylene-based polymer with a composition consisting of an organopolysiloxane, hydrocarbon compound and organic peroxide, as a main component.
CONSTITUTION: (A) 100 pts.wt. ethylene-based polymer (e.g. PE or ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer) is reacted with (B) a composition consisting of (i) 1-400 pts. wt.% organopolysiloxane shown by formula I [R1 is aliphatic unsaturated group; R2 is (substituted) monofunctional hydrocarbon not containing aliphatic unsaturated group; 0<a<1; 0.5<b<3; 1<a+b<3] and having ≥1,000 cs viscosity at 23°C, (ii) 0.01-30 pts. wt. hydrocarbon compound shown by formula II (c is 1-30) and (iii) 0.005-0.05 organic peroxide to give the aimed coating agent.
