To provide a compact photographic development processing device and photographic development processing system which are good in workability, obviates the contamination and adhesion of fingerprints of photographic paper at the time of work, are low in a running cost and allow roll transportation in a drying section.
A coating applying section 400 for applying a protective coating layer dispersion is disposed between the drying section 300 for drying a photographic sensitive material 121 subjected to development processing and the drying section 500 for drying the protective coating layer applied on the photographic sensitive material 121. The coating application is so executed as to satisfy the following conditions when the moisture content contained in the hydrophilic binder on the image forming surface side of the photographic sensitive material 121 right after the passage through the drying section 300 is defined as B1 (g/m2), the coated amt. of the water to be applied simultaneously with the aq. resin in the coating applying section 400 as B2 (g/m2) and the coated amt. of the hydrophilic binder as A (g/m2): The conditions are specified to (B1+B2)/A≤2.5.
