Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating booth capable of discharging an exhaust air to the outside without passing the air through an exhaust treating part when a VOC concentration is low while inhibiting an increase in size of the booth.SOLUTION: A coating booth 1 is provided with: a coating chamber 5 partitioned into a plurality of areas B1 to B10; an exhaust path 94 for collecting the exhaust air discharged from the coating chamber 5 and discharging to the outside; a sensor 2 for measuring the concentration of the volatile organic compound in the collected exhaust air; a treatment path 96 for collecting the exhaust air discharged from the coating chamber 5 to introduce the air into the upstream side of the sensor 2; a removal unit 40 provided on the treatment path 96 for removing a prescribed VOC included in the collected exhaust air; and the dampers 21 to 30, and 41 to 50 provided corresponding to the respective areas B1 to B10 for controlling the communication states of the respective areas B1 to B10 with the exhaust path 94 and the respective areas B1 to B10 with the treatment path 96. The dampers 21 to 30, and 41 to 50 connect the area under coating processing to the treatment path 96 when the VOC concentration is a prescribed value C or higher.
