Abstract:
A coating apparatus (1) having a discharge port (40) having a predetermined width in a first direction (X) and that coats a coating solution in a planar manner by the discharge port (40) moving relative to the material to be coated (79) in a second direction (Y) that intersects the first direction (X), wherein the coating apparatus comprises a first solution reservoir (10) to which a coating solution is supplied, a flow path (20) in communication with the first solution reservoir (10), and a second solution reservoir (30) that is in communication with the first solution reservoir (10) by way of the flow path (20), and that discharges the coating solution from the discharge port (40).
