To provide a coating film transfer device which is easy in replacement of a transfer tape and can carry out a transfer work smoothly.

In the coating film transfer device 1, a base plate 6 where a feed reel 3, a winding reel 4 and the like are arranged is enclosed in a container, a transfer head 5 is projected from the container, and a transfer tape 7 is fed out from the feed reel 3 to be reversed at the tip end of the transfer head 5 for being wound on a winding reel 4. The base plate 6 consists of a first base plate 8 and a second base plate 9. The first base plate 8 is provided with a first support shaft 11 to pivotably support a feed gear 10 and the feed reel 3, and with a second support shaft 13 to pivotably support a winding gear 12 and the winding reel 4. The second base plate 9 is provided with the transfer head 5. These first base plate 8 and the second base plate 9 are rotatably assembled with the first support shaft 11, so that the intermeshing of the feed gear 10 with the winding gear 12 via a middle gear 18 can be freely engaged and disengaged as these base plates 8, 9 and 11 rotate.
