To provide a coating-film transfer tool that prevents discoloration and temporal deterioration of a coating film due to exposure to the outside air for a long time when not in use, and reduction in adhesion caused when dust adheres to the coating film.
The coating-film transfer tool 1 includes:a supply reel 3 and a take-up reel 4 arranged in a case 2 having an opening 2a; a transfer tape 6 having a coating film formed on one surface of a base material wound around the supply reel 3; a transfer head 5 protruding from the opening 2a to deliver the transfer tape and reverse the transfer tape at the tip 5a of the transfer head so as to be taken up by the take-up reel 4. A shaft 7 is arranged between the supply reel 3 and the transfer head 5 in order to control a path of the transfer tape 6 drawn out of the supply reel. A plate-like member 9 is provided which is brought into contact with the coating film of the transfer tape 6 between the shaft and the transfer head by protruding its front end from the case when the tool is not in use. The plate-like member is separated from the coating film of the transfer tape 6 to be stored in the case when the tool is in use. A slide mechanism brings the plate-like member 9 in contact with or apart from the transfer tape 6.
