Abstract:
To provide coating liquid for forming an optical interference layer which is good in the dispersion stability of metal oxide particulates and whose retention stability is excellent, an optical interference layer produced by using the coating liquid and showing high film strength and a high refractive index, and an antireflection film and a display device.
The coating liquid for forming the optical interference layer including at least the metal oxide particulates and an organometallic compound and containing diacetone alcohol is prepared through a step for dispersing the metal oxide particulates in a solvent containing at least diacetone alcohol.
