PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a coating material for solar battery module front sheets, which is superior in low water vapor permeability, weather resistance, transparency and the adhesion with a material to be coated therewith, and which enables the formation of a coating film with a low refraction index, the reduction in the weight of a solar battery module and the simplification of a manufacturing process; a solar battery module front sheet; and a solar battery module.SOLUTION: A coating material for solar battery module front sheets comprises: a fluorine-containing copolymer having a fluorine-containing olefin unit and a vinyl alcohol unit; a hardening agent; and a UV absorber.
