To provide a coating material supply apparatus which can be made small in size, low in pressure and short in a period of time needed for a color change process, and is excellent in cleaning property.
The coating material supply apparatus has a coating material tank 61 formed into a hermetically closed space and housing a coating material 2 to supply a coating material to a coating material pipe line 50, a pressurized air source for supplying pressurized air to the hermetically closed space of the coating material tank, an air pipe line for connecting the pressurized air source to the hermetically closed space of the coating material tank and a three-way valve 62 provided in the middle of the air pipe line to supply the pressurized air supplied from the pressurized air source to the hermetically closed space of the coating tank in a first position and to reduce the pressure of the hermetically closed space of the coating material tank in second position.
