Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form two layers of overcoating film layers excellent in contamination preventing property, film performances and film appearance on a continuously moving metal sheet without increasing the number of baking processes. SOLUTION: An overcoating color base coating material and an overcoating clear coating material are applied on a long metal sheet which continuously travels after a primer hardened film is formed or without forming a primer film, and the overcoating layers are baked to form the overcoating clear coating film on the overcoating color base film. In this method, the overcoating clear coating film is formed by wet-on-wet method on the overcoating color base film. The overcoating clear coating material is prepared by compounding (c) 0.1 to 30 pts.wt. of photocatalytic titanium oxide her total 100 pts.wt. as the film-forming resin component consisting of (A) 60 to 95 pts.wt. of a hydroxyl group-contg. org. resin and (B) 5 to 40 pts.wt. of at least one kind of a crosslinking agent selected from melamine resin and blocked polyisocyanate compds.
