Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating solution for the undercoat layer of an electrophotographic photoreceptor which suppresses the injection of carriers from the electrically conductive substrate and the occurrence of black spots, and to provide a method for producing an electrophotographic photoreceptor using the coating solution and an electrophotographic photoreceptor.
SOLUTION: The coating solution contains a water-soluble aprotic organic solvent or a mixed solvent consisting of the organic solvent and a lower alcohol, a resin and a metal oxide.
