Title:
COATING USING NATURAL MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3448514
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of environmental pollutants as much as possible by the use of a raw material of an organic substance using a natural material and, simultaneously, to improve the mixing property of glue with other components to render handling easy.
SOLUTION: A coating using a natural material such as a coating material, a coating primer, and an adhesive, which comprise glue as an organic substance and are coated on a material to be coated, such as wood, contains pyroligneous acid. The acetic acid component of this pyroligneous acid acts on the glue to enable the glue to retain in a liquid state even at normal temperatures. Consequently, a uniformly mixed state of the glue with other compositions can be obtained to dissolve the complicatedness of handling due to viscosity, and since the coating is of a raw material of an organic substance using a natural material together with glue and pyroligneous acid, even by using or dumping it or the like, environmental pollution such as air pollution and soil pollution is inhibited. For example, a coating which functions as a coating material comprises 60-80 wt.% astringent persimmon fluid, 10-15 wt.% glue, and 5-15 wt.% purified pyroligneous acid having a pH of 34.
