Title:
COFFEE BEAN ROASTER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5672680
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: The heat source-intercepting means and air-blowing mechanism are controlled by a temperature-detecting means including a thermally sensitive element that is set among the coffee beans being roasted with stirring to start air blowing at the same time when the heat source is intercepted and then to make air blowing stop or gentle after cooling, thus preventing the excessive roasting and dissipation of aroma.

CONSTITUTION: The rotating drum 2 having perforations 3 is equipped with a thermally sensitive element 13 on the door 11 and the heat source is provided beneath the drum 2. The drum 2 is followed by the air-flow controlling plate 26 and the air-blowing fan 27 so that the controlling plate is made openable by solenoid 23. The thermally sensitive element 13, sensor circuit 101, buffer circuit 102, latch circuit 103, solenoid 23, heat source 14, power source 108 are connected and, when the power source is made to turn on, the drum 2 and fan 27 are driven. When the thermally sensitive element detects the set temperature, the heat source 14 is made to turn off and the solenoid 23 is made to turn on to open the controlling plate 26 and send a strong wind to the drum 2. Thereafter, when the element perceives the set temperature, the controlling plate 26 is closed.
