Title:
COFFEE BREWER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2012152263
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a pressurized coffee brewer that prevents drops of hot water from dripping from an extraction port during boiling water.

The coffee brewer includes: a heating container 3; a water discharge valve 7 installed in a discharge path connecting the heating container 3 and a liquid discharge port 8, and released only when the pressure in the heating container 3 is higher than a prescribed pressure; a decompression valve 9 installed in a decompression path connecting the heating container 3 and a decompression port 10 for releasing the pressure in the heating container 3; and a control part 6 for controlling the operation of the decompression valve 9. The control part 6 is configured to monitor a temperature in the heating container 3 and to release the decompression valve 9 for a predetermined time period when detecting that the temperature in the heating container 3 rises for a predetermined temperature. Inner pressure in the heating container 3 can be reduced by releasing the decompression valve 9 before the inner pressure in the heating container 3 exceeds spring pressure of the water discharge valve 7 when boiling water. Consequently, the coffee brewer can prevent the drops of hot water from dripping from the liquid dispensing port 8.
