Title:
COFFEE MAKER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2013233201
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To solve such a problem that a coffee temperature at extraction is not constant due to the variation in a power source voltage or difference in initial water temperature, resulting in the variation in the density or taste of coffee.

A coffee maker includes: a water container 1; a heater 2 that heats water; a heater control unit 3 that phase-controls the energization quantity of the heater using a triac; a filter unit 4 into which ground coffee powder is put; a server 5 that receives coffee extracted by pouring hot water through the filter unit; and an operation unit that operates these devices. The filter unit is provided with a temperature sensing unit 6 that senses the temperature of the extracted coffee, and the operation unit is provided with a selection switch 9 that can select the taste of coffee from at least 2 steps or more. The heater energization quantity is controlled so that a coffee temperature sensed by the temperature sensing unit becomes at least 90°C higher than at least one setting and 80-85°C higher than the other setting with respect to the settings by the selection switch.
