Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assemble and disassemble a cofferdam construction simply and quickly.
SOLUTION: Box body blocks 20 are arranged so as to be opposite to each other with a bridge pier 12 as the center, fasteningly assembled sandwiching a box body connecting packings 20k, and sunk on a footing after completing the connecting assembly. An installation packing is interposed on the underside of the bottom plates of the box body blocks 20. When the box body blocks 20 are sunk and placed on the footing, water stopping material 20m such as clay or mortar is charged in recessed parts 20e provided on end plates 20d, so as to reinforce water stop property of the connected parts between the box body blocks 20, and the box body blocks 20 are fixed to the footing. After completing fixing of the box body blocks 20, water in the part surrounded with the inside plates 20a is excluded, a reinforcing work such as charge of stuffing sediment into the box body blocks is executed, a dry working space is insured outside the bridge pier 12, and the repairing work of the bridge pier 12 is executed.
