PURPOSE: To shorten an unstable time period of a double sheet pile wall to a great extent and enable to perform execution work with high safety, by a method wherein inner cells are installed with appropriate intervals as the process of sheet pile driving progresses.
CONSTITUTION: An inner cell 4, whose diameter is equal to the space between a double sheet pile wall 1, and having height which does not interfere with setting up of tie-rod is installed between the double walls of sheet pile, and immediately thereafter, sand and mud 5 are filled into the cell. Setting up of tie-rod can be performed siumltaneously so long as the filling in of sand and mud is not interferred. Completion of filling-in work at the inner cell means the installation of the inside support members between the two walls of sheet piles, while the completion of tie-rod installation enables the filling-in work at the space between the newly provided inside support members independently of the driving-in of additional sheet piles.
