To provide a coffin cooling device which has no problems of noise and vibration by using a relatively small-sized cooling device and blower, and does not necessitate to remove a coffin lid at the time of funeral procession.

On an installation table of a box shape the upper face of which is a coffin installation face, and a cooling unit which has a freezer in its inside and is made of the evaporator and blower of a freezer can elevate so as to protrude from or withdraw into the face of the coffin installation table, a coffin body which has an opening part where the cooling unit can be inserted on the bottom face, and is provided with an openable/closable lid in the opening part is placed. Since the cooling unit directly cools the inside of the coffin, a cooling efficiency is good, an air blowing load is small, the small-sized freezer and blower can be used, there are no problems of noise and vibration, and energy saving is accomplished. Since the cooling unit is of the elevating type, it is not necessary to remove the coffin lid at the time of funeral procession.
