Abstract:
To more accurately evaluate a cognitive function of a subject.SOLUTION: A cognitive function evaluation device 1 includes a measurement base 11 for measuring a load, and a CPU 24 for evaluating a cognitive function of a subject. The CPU 24 instructs the subject to perform a predetermined foot movement on the measurement base 11 through an image display unit 30, sets a reference of a change in a load generated by the predetermined foot movement, measures a change in the load applied to the measurement base 11 by the movement performed by the subject according to the instruction, and calculates a deviation between a result of the measurement of the change in the load applied to the measurement base 11 and the set reference. The CPU 24 then evaluates the cognitive function of the subject on the basis of an extent of the calculated deviation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
