To provide a coil bobbin for a small electric actuator that can be set to a winding device surely, even if it is formed to be a near hollow cylinder to house a rotor inside it.
A coil bobbin 511 has the shape of near hollow cylinder for housing a rotor 540 inside of it, with a coil winding groove 528 provided on the outer surface for winding a coil in the plane almost parallel to the axial direction of the rotor. A pair of recesses 526 engaged with a pair of chuck claws 952 are provided on the outer periphery of at least one side among both sides sandwiching the coil winding groove. The coil bobbin is halved in the axial direction of the rotor, with each of split bobbins 520 and 530 provided with a bearing hole in which a spindle end of the rotor is inserted for free rotation. At winding, the rotor is housed inside the coil bobbin and the chuck claw is engaged with the recess to grip the coil bobbin. Under that condition, the coil bobbin is rotated while a coil is wound in the coil winding groove.
