Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil component which prevents the generation of cracking, chipping and the like of an exterior core, and has excellent reliability.SOLUTION: A coil component 10 includes: an internal core 20 which has a columnar winding core portion extending in an axial direction, and collar portions provided at both ends of the winding core portion; a coil wound around the winding core portion; an exterior core 40 disposed on an outer periphery of the internal core 20; and a pair of terminal portions 50 and 60 which have fixed portions 52 and 62 fixed to the exterior core 40, connection parts 54 and 64 to which either one of terminal portions 30a or 30b of the coil is connected, and connecting portion 56 and 66 for connecting the connection parts 54 and 64 and the fixed portions 52 and 62. The fixed portions 52 and 62 abut on an installation surface 42a provided on one end surface 42 and the other end surface 44 of the exterior core 40, and the connection parts 54 and 64 have connection bottom portions opposite to a supporting surface 42b of the exterior core 40.
