Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To heat a tubular work having a corrugated peripheral wall, formed so that protrusions and recesses are arranged alternately in the tube axis direction, uniformly by induction heating.SOLUTION: A coil 10 for induction heating a tubular work W1 having a corrugated peripheral wall, formed so that protrusions wa and recesses wb are arranged alternately in the tube axis direction has a loop 21 formed by winding a coil conductor 20 annularly so that the work W1 can be inserted, or a plurality of loops 21 provided, at intervals, along a reference axis C where the work W1 thus inserted is arranged. Each loop 21 is tilting for a surface S perpendicular to the reference axis C, and the angle formed by each loop 21 and the surface S is larger than the angle formed by the extention direction of the protrusions wa and recesses wb and the surface S.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
