Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil residence elimination method capable of suppressing stop of a manufacturing line and occurrence of speed decline of the manufacturing line by detecting quickly coil residence on a transfer line and by eliminating the coil residence, and to provide a coil residence elimination system.SOLUTION: There is provided a coil residence elimination method on a transfer line for transferring a steel plate coil from a manufacturing line of a steel plate to a packing line for packing the steel plate coil. The coil residence elimination method has steps for: detecting a state where a coil cannot be sent out from the manufacturing line to the transfer line, as a coil residence state on the transfer line; and extracting the coil from the transfer line to a temporary depot, when detecting the coil residence state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
