Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate a fine regulation in the height of a suspension device and its wide use to closely respond to a customer need for regulating a car height lower with few kinds of coil springs by putting a cut part of the coil spring onto a spring seat even if its end is cut for a height regulation.
SOLUTION: This coil spring S1 for a suspension device is formed by spirally winding an element wire 1. The upper and lower ends of the coil spring S1 for the suspension device are formed to be receivable in spring seats 31, 32. The lower end of the coil spring S1 is formed into a closed end somewhat smaller in diameter. The upper end of the coil spring S1 is provided with a cutting regulation section 2 where the element wire 1 is wound plural times in the same diameter and pitch. The pitch of the element wire 1 of the cutting regulation section 2 is determined with no clearance between the element wires 1. The coil spring S1 will have the same pitch excepting the cutting regulation section 2.
