Abstract:
PURPOSE: To accumulate coins stably and orderly to prepare wrapped coins excellent in quality by automatically displacing, by a distance almost coinciding with the thickness of carried-in coins, a support means capable of carrying coins in a layered state.
CONSTITUTION: The number and coin characteristic values of coins C passing through a carry-in path 13 by a carrier belt 14 are detected by a magnetic sensor 15. According to time detected characteristic values. a thickness data conversion means 101, to which the values are reported, calculates the thickness dimensions of the circulating coins C and communicates them to a comparison command means 102. The comparison command means 102 reads the number of pulses supplied to an accumulation part driving means 104 corresponding to the thickness dimensions of the coins C from an accumulation part momentum storage means 103 and supplies it to the means 104. Accordingly, accumulation drums 21, 21 are pivoted by a desired angle, the positions of the spiral projecting stripes 22A, 22B of the drums are changed, the layered coins C carried by the stripes are dropped by the thickness of the carried-in coins C, and the top face of the accumulated coins C is always maintained while keeping a constant distance from the carry-in path 13.
