To provide a coin acceptance machine allowing reduction or increase in size, and also allowing reduction of cost.
A coin thrown to a machine body 11 is conveyed one by one and is discriminated. A plurality of specific denominations are selected by an arbitrary selection means of a selection part, are temporarily stored in a temporary storage part, and thereafter are mixedly stored in a mixture storage part 36 based on an approval instruction. A coin except the plurality of specific denominations is selected according to a coin diameter by a plurality of denomination-classified selection holes of the selection part, is temporarily stored in the temporary storage part, and thereafter is stored in a denomination-classified storage part 37 based on an approval instruction. A storage place and a temporary storage place of the plurality of specific denominations are unified to improve space efficiency inside the machine body 11 and to allow reduction or increase in size. The plurality of denomination-classified selection holes are used together to reduce the cost. The plurality of specific denominations include one yen coin, five yen coin, an old coin, and a commemorative coin.
