Abstract:
To accelerate processing for discriminating and conveying a plurality of coins.
A speed detection sensor 29 detects the conveyance speed of coils carried by a 1st conveyor belt 12 and a conveyance path guide plate 11, and the speed at which a throw-in belt 8 is placed in operation is calculated from the detected conveyance speed by using an optimum speed table wherein optimum speeds for sending coins by a throw-in belt which are previously set in steps so as to hold irreducible coin intervals needed to discriminate whether the coins are genuine and their dominations, so that the coins are sent out by the throw-in belt 8 and a throw-in roller 6 at the calculated speed.
