Abstract:
To enable smooth separation of coins with simple structure.SOLUTION: A coin processor 10 of an automated teller machine 1 is provided with a regulating member 57 at a position inside a transporting unit 51 of an upper separation unit 15 and not facing a disk surface 45S, and a regulating surface 57R of the regulating member 57 inclined with respect to a front transport surface FS. Thus, the upper separation unit 15 allows a coin CN that is far away from a left transport surface LS, such as a coin CN2 on the right side that is in a superposed state and the coin CN that is in an inclined state to abut the regulating surface 57R and move backward so as to regulate entry into a transport space SC. This allows a coin separation unit 15 to prevent the coin CN from being clogged in separated transportation processing where the coins CN are separated and transported one by one.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12
