PURPOSE: To eliminate the need of adjusting a fitting position with respect to plural kinds of coins different in diameters and to surely hold succeeding coins at the time of discharging the head coin and to save power by improving a holding mechanism which temporarily holds the succeeding coins for storing the head coin in a coin storage port one by one among plural coins accumulated in a coin accumulation track for collecting a use rate by the coins in a public telephone set.

CONSTITUTION: A rotary disk 2 having a supporting means 4 holding any coins of several types different in the diameter in the direction of the diameter at two points separated on the periphery of the coin and a control means controlling the rotary operation of the rotary disk 2 are given. The rotary axis of the rotary disk 2 is orthogonal to the surface of the coin and a line connecting the rotary center of the rotary disk 2 and two points which are abutted on two points on the periphery of the coin 4 in the supporting means 4 becomes a V-shape.
