Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coin insertion port into which coins are received smoothly without staying and remaining, and a self-checkout device.SOLUTION: A coin insertion port has; inclined planes of a funnel-like shape falling from the outside to the inside; and a hole disposed at the lowest part of the inclined planes, which allows one or more coins to pass through. The coin insertion port is capable of receiving a plurality of coins at a time. In a pair of the inclined planes being interposed by the hole, at least one of inclination or height of one inclined plane is different from the other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
