Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coin packaging machine and a coin packaging method which enable secure sensing that packaging medium has been all drawn out of a packaging medium roll by judging that abnormality has occurred when a rotational speed of the guide part calculated on the basis of sensing results of the sensing part becomes smaller than a predetermined value.SOLUTION: A coin packaging machine comprises a guide part (e.g., guide roll 82) that guides a packaging medium P drawn out of a packaging medium roll R attached to the attachment part, a drive part (e.g., drive motor) that rotationally drives the guide part, a sensing part (e.g., optical sensor 83) that senses the rotation amount of the guide part, and a control part that judges that abnormality has occurred when a rotational speed of the guide part calculated on the basis of sensing results of the sensing part becomes smaller than a predetermined value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 25
