Abstract:
To provide a coin processing device with improved operational efficiency.SOLUTION: An automatic teller machine includes: a plurality of storage units; and a coin control unit that, when a roll storage unit located at an acceptance position is brought into a full state during a storing operation, changes the roll storage unit located at the acceptance position and then stores coins in the roll storage unit located at the acceptance position again. The coin control unit compares, per coin type, a storage scheduled number which is the number of coins to be stored and a vacant capacity of each of the roll storage units, and in a case where a coin type number that requires changing of the roll storage unit located at the acceptance position during the storing operation is less than or equal to a predetermined coin type number threshold value, temporarily stops the conveyance of coins when the roll storage unit located at the acceptance position is brought into the full state during the storing operation, and after changing the roll storage unit in the full state located at the acceptance position to another roll storage unit which is not in the full state, stores the coins in the roll storage unit located at the acceptance position again.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
