Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coin processing device capable of reducing loads on a mechanical control part and having high resolution for detected information obtained by a detector sensor.
SOLUTION: In this device, coins are delivered from a coin feed part to be identified, and based on the identified results, the coins are conveyed to a storage part to be accumulated while they are monitored by a sensor, and then the coins are separated into plural units. In this case, a rotary encoder 18 for forming a mechanical clock MCK, that is, a pulse signal synchronized with the conveying speed of the coins, is provided. In each unit, a counter 54 for counting pulse signals, a memory 64 for storing sensor-information, that is, information on the presence or absence of the coins on a conveying path, detected by the sensor, a DMA 56 for writing the sensor-information to the memory 64 based on the mechanical clock MCK, and a CPU 52 for reading the sensor-information from the memory 64, reading the counted results from the counter 54, and controlling the conveyance of the coins based on the counted results and the sensor-information, are provided.
