Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coin selector capable of sorting more than three denominations of coins in one sorting device.SOLUTION: The coin sorting device comprises: a first sorting plate 148 and a second sorting plate 152 each of whose end is formed in a comb tooth shape; a first moving rail 154; and a first stopper 156. The first sorting plate and the second sorting plate are selectively positioned among in a state of standby where the comb teeth of their ends are engaged, a state where a second sorting path 186 is formed between the first sorting plate and the second sorting plate, and a state where a first sorting path 168 is constituted on the reverse face side of the first sorting plate. The first moving rail and the first stopper are selectively arranged between a position where the first moving rail constitutes a bottom plate of the first sorting path and the second sorting path, and a position where the first moving rail does not constitute the bottom plate. The first stopper is selectively arrange between a position where the first stopper traverses the first sorting path and the second sorting path and a position where the first stopper does not traverse them. The first moving rail and the first stopper are selectively positioned in opposite phases.
