Abstract:
To provide a coin storage device capable of shortening a dispensing time.SOLUTION: A storage case 11 for storing coins by denomination is provided with a screw type transport member 13 for transporting coins by rotating in one direction. The screw type transport member 13 is for storing coins one by one in a tip region, and provided with a storage control unit that performs a retry operation for storing a predetermined number of coins in the tip region a predetermined number of times until the number of stored coins in the tip region reaches a predetermined number by rotating the screw type transport member 13 in the other direction and then rotating the same in one direction to transport coins stored in the base end region if the number of stored coins in the tip region does not reach the predetermined number. The storage control unit causes the screw type transport member 13 to rotate in the one direction to dispense coins by the number of dispensed coins if the number of dispensed coins in the dispensing command is less than or equal to the number of stored coins in the tip region.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
